DNP Program Letter of Recommendation 2 Corrections

To the DNP Admissions Committee at UXX

I am very pleased to recommend my colleague XXXX for your distinguished DNP Program at XXXX University. My name is XXXX and I have now been serving as a nursing supervisor for the last 20 years for the XX Department of Public Safety. I first met Nurse XXXX in my capacity as a nursing supervisor at XXXX Correctional Hospital in XXX in 2007. This correctional hospital is well known locally as the former site of the XXXX Sanatorium for the Treatment of Tuberculosis. I served as Nurse XXXX’s direct supervisor since I was the lead nurse appointed to our shift

In fact, I worked directly with Nurse XXXX for approximately 5 years at XXXX Correctional Hospital until the hospital closed in 2012 and we transferred to our current place of employment, XXXX Correctional, where I continue to serve as a nurse supervisor and have the great privilege of working alongside Nurse XXXX. What I find most impressive about XXXX is the way that she never settles for the status quo but is always coming up with new ideas about how to make our patients as comfortable as possible. She is always willing to go that extra mile for her patients and I admire this about her very much.

Nurse XXXX is meticulous and highly conscientious, always striving to provide excellent patient care and service and she excels in particular at teamwork building, always maintaining the best of relations with her colleagues; she is very much loved and depended upon on our floor. Always communicating effectively and appropriately with her peers, staffs and patients, Nurse XXXX has always been consistently professional. Thus, I feel strongly that she has much to contribute to a DNP Program.

Working together as a team we strive to create the best personal statement possible, to give you an advantage over other applicants to Nursing School. I am an experienced professional who has read and edited hundreds of  Personal Statements and Statements of Purpose in the area of Nursing. Most editing services only focus on the technical aspects of the statements: grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Instead, I consider the more important aspects; personal tone, flow, and content. Most importantly, I help you express your creative ideas concerning your long term goals and your contribution to humanity, society, and one's local community. The final product of my editing may be the beginning of your professional success, a solid investment in your future.
